Placeholder by Tuukka Kaila

Placeholder is a consideration of art’s position in relation to knowledge. The conversational artist’s book invites ideas and thinking from different locations across the epistemological landscape to share the book’s space with abstract imagery and an open source placeholder tool for contemporary Finnish language. The work proposes a reassessment of the larger debate on artistic research and knowledge production.
